Belcesiran (DCR-A1AT) is an investigational drug intended for treatment of alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) deficiency-associated liver disease (AATLD). Investigational medicines have not yet been approved by appropriate regulatory agencies. The safety and efficacy for belcesiran have not yet been established. Current and future studies are evaluating the safety and efficacy of belcesiran.
